My Story:
I moved to the area in January of 2010. I started looking at Woodsedge Apartments immediately. I went on the waiting list and continued my search for a new home. None of the other apartments in the area compared to Woodsedge. I lived with my aunt and continued to wait for an open apartment. I was so excited when I received the call that
there would be an open apartment in October. It was definitely worth the wait.
Top Three Reasons Why I Love Living At Woodsedge:
1. The Caring Staff:
Amy and Loni are always friendly and willing to answer any question. They definitely C.A.T.E.R and take care of every need. John and Justin "come to the rescue" very promptly. I have had many things happen.. from my heat going (on a weekend) in the middle of winter to needing my locks changed. They (both) always show up with a positive attitude and a smile on their face.
2. Safety:
I feel so incredibly safe living at Woodsedge. The community is well lit at night, many people are out during the summer days, and everyone is very friendly. Being a young single female, being safe is very important to me.
3. Features:
I love that Woodsedge is in a quiet area (away from all of the noise). I work in downtown Corning and it is so nice to "get away" at the end of the day. The pool, fitness center, and business center are always a big plus. It makes me feel like I am living at a resort.
I have been at Woodsedge for almost a year now. I will be signing my new lease in October. I can't imagine living anywhere else right now. Woodsedge is my home away from home (in my hometown)! Kristen
When my wife and I decided to sell our upstate home and move into this area, we visited several homes for sale and some apartment homes. After doing research, we found "WoodsEdge Apartment Homes". From the first visit, we found everything we wished for and more. The staff is professional and the grounds are beautifully kept. The trees and flowers as you enter the grounds are lovely and make you feel welcome. A big plus is that we are only one mile from family and five minutes to all major roads. Friends have told us they wish this type of facility was available in their area. We are proud to have family and friends visit us. Ever since we moved off Long Island, where the cost to live was heavy and traffic was bad, my wife and I have loved to live on WoodsEdge Dr. There is no traffic to worry about when you go to Corning or Elmira. We see deer in back of where we live and really enjoy it. Thank you for allowing us to live in this beautiful community.

To really explain the pleasure of living here I would like to give you a brief history of Dale's and my relationship. We have been together for almost fourteen years, during which we had lived in separate residents. Me in the PennYan area where I work and Dale in the Horseheads area, she works in Elmira. Fifty miles apart so we only saw each other on weekend.
WoodsEdge is the best of everything we had been looking for so we could live together. The convenient location to the highway to get to work, shopping, and mostly the two of us living together are the best reasons to love living here. WoodsEdge also offers a beautiful, serene, quiet location to call home, with a pool, exercise room and an amazing staff who is pleasant, helpful and courteous. We plan on retiring next year so WoodsEdge offers us the convenience that we will need in our years to come. Thank you! Rick and Dale
Why I love living at WoodsEdge is that it’s a very friendly neighborhood. People are friendly in the apartments and people who work at the office are very friendly and helpful.
I also like the way they keep the upkeep on the apartments so they always look nice. The landscaping is also very enjoyable because it always looks nice around the complex. The flowers and lights make it look very attractive when you first pull in. WoodsEdge seems like a very safe neighborhood and that’s another reason I like living here. I can go away on vacation and feel safe that everything will still be here when I get back.
I also love the extra things that WoodsEdge has to offer especially the exercise room and the computer and copy machine that always comes in handy. I also love the pool area especially when it’s hot and the pool is always fun to cool down. The lifeguard is always friendly and nice. This is why I love living at WoodsEdge.

Both of us were raised on farms. Here we are literally at the woods edge. It's like living in the country, yet close to everything. It is so quiet and peaceful thanks to great neighbors. We love the wild life around us from the playful deer and rabbits to the bears wandering thru. Even a couple of times have seen a coyote in the field out back. And of course "Chipper" our little chipmunk scurrying around. All types of feathered friends from the beautiful cardinals to the occasional majestic bald eagle soaring above. Even a friendly grackle paid a visit. He sat on Herb's chair, then his head, then his hand and pecked at the buttons on his shirt. He stayed long enough for me to take pictures. We had a family of mallard ducks that waddled by the patio almost every night last year. In the spring we can listen to the chorus of peepers at night. Also in the summer after dark we listen to animals in the woods. Mostly bobcats (one even came down to the field out back). Once in awhile we hear a coyote howl. Plus listening to the trains down on the tracks. Really nice when we are going to sleep. The view from our patio is an artist paradise. You might find me on the patio painting a picture of the autumn colors. This is like living in a little corner of heaven on earth with the beautiful landscaping around us. We really appreciate all the decorations at the club house for different things. Plus all the hard work the staff does to make the place beautiful and keeping the property in great shape. We have been here 4 plus years and do not plan on moving unless we have to. What more could we ask for. Sam and Shirley

Our living experience at Woods Edge Apartments Complex has definitely exceeded our expectations. While there are several aspects of our living experience we enjoy on a daily basis; I will hone in only a few:
1.) Amy Donnelly and her staff are always cordial and receptive to the residences needs and concerns on a timely basis.
2.) The complex is consistently meticulously well maintained which includes but not limited to the pool, clubhouse and grounds.
3.) Our family feels safe and secure and has not heard of any security issues we need to be concerned about.
4.) Amy communicates very effectively in the WOODSEDGE COMMUNITY NEWSLETTER, and the tenants are informed well in advance prior to preventative maintenance.
5.) Our four year old daughter always looks forward to the well planned and organized Christmas parties, Halloween activities and Easter Egg Hunt.
In conclusion the ultimate question is “WOULD WE HAVE MADE THE SAME DECISION TO STAY HERE IF WE HAD TO DO IT OVER?쳌 and the answer would be YES!

I love living at WoodsEdge Apartments because it feels like home. Apartment-living typically includes tight quarters, few windows, a shared entry to the building, and constant noise distractions. However, I often forget that I live in an apartment complex! I tell my friends that I live in a quiet "condo-home" at WoodsEdge because I have my own front door and back door, high ceilings, lots of closet space, and large windows that my cat and I can look out when the local herd of deer come by for a visit! Luxurious, Lavished, and beautiful these are all words that can describe living in Woods Edge town homes. There are many reasons why we not only like living at Woods Edge but absolutely love living here. Just moving in itself was hassle free, easy ,and comfortable.
The staff at Woods Edge along with the maintenance staff members are extremely understanding and exceptionally nice. From the second you move in you notice how well maintained the apartment buildings are. Also I cannot even begin to explain how beautiful the landscape of the area is and again how well kept up.
We are always kept up to date with all events, not only in Woods Edge, but the surrounding area with the monthly newsletter. I find it very comforting the time the staff takes to include tips for safety in the community. Since we have lived here any maintenance big or small went on with seemingly no disturbance to our normal day activities. I’m also very impressed with the haste of the staff with any request.
Before choosing Woods Edge we looked high and low for apartments all around this area and nothing could compare; whether is was price, quality, location, or professionalism Woods Edge had it all. I'm always anxious to tell everyone how happy and safe I feel living at WoodsEdge. My first visit (2004) I knew "this is for me". Our "WE Crew" hosts residents to a grand Barbeque and Pool Party every June. In December, we enjoy another grand Holiday Buffet and Prizes. The best in the area- far and wide. The residents are friendly. The children are very respectful. I like my neighborhood! I was never an apartment dweller, but as birthdays come and go I can not fathom all the upkeep of a house. It is so easy to call Amy. She will take care of everything! Her :crew: is so punctual and efficient (even after hours)! Just a brief "why I am so happy living at WoodsEdge"!

I love the entry drive with flowers blooming bright
